This is absolutely amazing 🤩. I found one in Texas USA but I have know idea where to find parts for it or what year it is yet. Not sure if it’s worth restoring in the USA.

Similar to the 65 my dad had when I was a child. His was a 289. It had different hub caps. Otherwise, same color interior and exterior. Same tail lights. Dad liked it better than the 1970 Galaxie he had. And of course, the 74 Galaxie was horrible. His 80 or was it 81 Galaxie/LTD was much better. I remember him commenting that the 80 felt more like the 65 (less of the "road hugging weight), better interior proportions. In his retirement, he bought an 86 LTD which he kept until he replaced that with the 2005 Crown Vic that I still have (with less than 60K miles on it).

Well you better know something about that car, perhaps you should first clean that fuel pipe and not pumping that fast with the pedal.

Apparently some were made for racing. The curves are less steep from front to back - normally a CV looks like half a circle when you look at them from the side. The real Dagonets were lowered. The French called it "Une propre 3CV" due to the performance. They were racing. 2CV racing were a thing in the 1970-80s. Today there's still offroad racing in 2CVs it's open class. You can participate in a modified 2CV. But many are as is from the factory and very original. I think people would be surprised of just how difficult terrain a 2CV can handle. Many normal 4WDs would struggle in the same terrain. The 2CV weighs 450 KG. Most terrain vehicles are easily 4 times heavier. Which means the 2CV could be riding on the top - while more powerful and heavy vehicles simply would sink and be using everything they've got just to prevent a standstill while the 2CV would be dancing like a butterfly with ease.

Yes extremely rare, in my humble opinion the 1957 DeSoto Fireflite Explorer was the ultimate mopar wagon from 1957 to 1959. Yes available options for this halo model were quite incredible, befitting this lofty status. Duel AC front and rear, not so well known duel rear arials, factory only order, power swivel front seats. 3 stage push button automatic transmission. Power steering, brakes, windows all round going on to a total of almost 20 further options/extras. Not forgetting the famous Hemi. This ending is sad, because it will become just another jacked up hot rod, whatever. But thanks for sharing this videl. An opportunity perhaps missed?
